Nice comment Dan.... I too have found the folks on this forum to be very helpful. I second your sentiments.

I agree. This site and its members are a wealth of knowledge. I haven't bothered to visit any other sites as I see no need to.

I used to be happy with handing over cash for store bought ammo-pull the trigger--boom--repeat. Hmmmmm simpler times!!

Thanks for turning a fun hobby into an unhealthy obsession!:D

Welcome! One advantage of us older fellers is we have developed patience. Not rushing, making sure of everything we do is a definite plus for reloading safely and accurately. Because of my "slow and steady" reloading methods I have not had an OOPS! in many, many, years...:D

Go slow, double check everything, and most important, have fun...

Great group of people here , everyone is so quick to help . We help each other , throw out new ideas , help when we can . To the newcomers , Welcome to the family. Until the next time, Be Well. Chris

As an old guy and newbie, I really take your advice seriously. You helped me so much. I am really slow. Measure every load every case but enjoy the time so much. My wife doesn't bother me when I am down in the basement and that's another plus Lol

Where as most in the same ballpark , I'm 70 so kid , don't forget to drink your milk & get back to reloading .

…yeah. Just don't hurry it. The milk will still be in the 'fridge when you remember it an hour later. Please don't ask how I know.

That reminds me , where did I put my keys ? Short memory loss is a good thing , I make new friends every day. Are we in a reloading forum , someone may take us serious . Anyway good talking to you all. Chris

I found the TV remote in the fridge... (Still scratching my head on that one)
Get in the car no keys... Keys on top the coffee maker...
Lost my glasses on top my head more than once...
Debbie keeps a basket by the washer for tools and small parts found in my pants pockets...
.
A little help and new ideas never hurt anything, group think helps.

On a semi-serious note about short memory; I write down the exact load I'm using on a sticky note and stick the note on my powder measure. I also have my manual out and on the bench when I gather components and keep only one powder on the bench at a time. I don't always forget my load data, but on rare occasions I've thought to myself "was that load XX.3 grains or XX.8 grains?"...

Amen. Been loading for over 47 years and enjoy it more than ever.

If we look back at the post " thank you for helping me " Dano4734 my not be so sure. But it is funny how it all went south . Sorry Southerners, just an expression. I'm really a southerner at heart.

Lol, the glasses are priceless, I have done that so many times. Where are my glasses, my Mrs then goes on your head.
