Been a lot of folks on here asking about TFL shirts for a while now. Especially with the increasing number of get togethers.
I got permission from Rich to go with this, and I talked today with a guy at a local T-shirt factory. (I work at a University Bookstore, and these are the guys that make our stuff, and the quality is fine). Looks like I can do it.
The first batch of shirts will be white, unless there is an overwhelming number of people who want something else. They will be good quality shirts, nothing crappy. Short sleeved. I'm thinking TFL logo on the right breast side. It will look like the logo on the top left of this screen. Only I'm going to have to simplify it down to three colors, so all of the writing will probably be yellow, instead of three shades of yellow.
Price will be $12, plus shipping, which I haven't quite figured out how I'm going to do that yet. So figure $15 per shirt total. Sizes in the initial batch will be S, M, L, & XL, keep in mind that this puts me out of luck initially also, I'm a 3X. The next run will have bigger sizes if folks want them. (The shirt people charge more for bigger, I'll work that out latter).
Now here's the thing, I need to know if there is sufficient interest on this board for this to be worth my time. Economically speaking, I'm going to need at least 60 orders prepaid for, to get the capital to start out. If there are more, then I will have them make the first batch larger.
Before anybody sends money though I just want to see how many responses there are. So please respond if your interested. For the sake of other TFLers please don't just post here to yank my chain, and tell me your going to order 5 shirts and then never do. I do not want to wind up with 500 TFL shirts in my living room.
Once the first shirts are made I will get pictures and post them on here.
Note, only a few of you on here know me personally, so all you have is my word that I'm not dinking around. I live Logan, Ut. Just north of SLC, so if there is any sort of problem, you can have the Kodiak come up and beat me senseless. Thank you.
