TFL decides my next AR.

So, I'm about ready to embark on another rifle project. I'm either wanting a good ol' used Colt Hbar or another mid-length. If I go rifle and grab an Hbar, I need to know if they're chambered for 5.56. If not, dealbreaker. I realize the barrel is 1:9 twist, this is fine with me. Both guns will be iron sight only...I'll put a good carry handle/rear on if I build as opposed to the colt.

If I build a rifle, I'm going to use a standard Rock River lower and a Noveseke Recce basic upper. I understand there are "cooler" lowers, Spikes Tactical, BCM, LMT...I haven't used them but I wouldn't shocked if they aren't as tight as the Rock River, something I really like. I put a RRA lower on my Daniel Defense DDM4 upper, and I'm not at all regretting doing so. Fit is a tighter than a gnats you know what. That can't be bad for accuracy and/or durability in the long term.

Currently I own a RRA Carbine and a DDM4 upper/RRA lower mid length..kinda want the rifle length but if it won't eat 55-64 grain 193 and 855 with abandon I have no place for it. Opinions?

RR lower color may not match ,if that kind of thing bothers you . FYI RR uppers and lowers are tight together ,but may not be as tight with another brand of upper . Any in spec lower is going to fit right .Too tight is not always a good thing. I have never seen an AR that didn't love brass cased 193 or 855 nato spec ammo .
