My company just installed a filter on our web-access that blocks all "BAD" websites and meters time on the merely frivolous ones. "Bad", of course, includes Porn sites plus a bunch of others including "weapons".
It went active yesterday morning.
When I hit my lunch hour and started to relax with my friends, I discovered I no longer had access to TFL because it is a "banned site -- see your IT director if you need an explanation".
No surprise -- I can't go to Glock-talk or 1911 forum either.
But The High road is clear sailing. So is CalGuns forum. Hmmmmm.
Conclusions:
1) Management is a bunch of party-poopers.
2) Computers ARE out to get you,
3) But they ain't infallible. Heh-Heh-heh.
Action Plan : Shut face! Enjoy what you can get while you can still get it.
Fud
