Oops, wrong forum. Well let me add that DPS uses the SIG 226 in .357 SIG.

"Diversity is a priority at DPS and we’re encouraging minorities and women to apply," said DPS Recruiting Coordinator Lt. Curly Colquitt.

I'm not gonna work for a place where "diversity is PRIORITY." It sounds like my freaking COLLEGE. Why can't they hire based on qualifications? WHAT A CONCEPT!!!

Some of the best cops that I've ever had interactions with were TX State Troopers. They even dress like police officers instead of ninjas.

6forsure: Yep... And some of the worst I've seen have been Texas State Troopers, too. I currently work with a former Trooper, and I sometimes wonder how he ever made it.
