I've been thinking one of these days getting one of the Texas Confederate Dance and brothers .44 cap-and-ball revolver. Does anybody have any first hand experience with them? How well do they shoot? What about the heft of them? From what I understand they are somewhere between the Colt Dragoon and 1860 Army in size. Is that about right? Are they worth the money?

Your talking about a gun that was built with great difficulty by an agricultural part of our country during a great struggle for a lost cause, if you find that period in American history interesting, than by all means buy the gun.
