Most people would be quite shocked to find out how much terrorism there is in this world. Cars blowing up in Madrid, 14 killed in Algeria, even the Solomon Islands for crying out loud!

I'm glad they also included eco-terrorist acts in our own country too. Most people are probably under the impression that terrorism is a tool of right-wing types and religious fundamentalists. Damn lefties are probably responsible for more terrorist acts than anyone.

You will never see the media call them left wing radicals or left wing terrorists. Hmmmmmmmm . . . I wonder why that is?

Same reason that when we hear about Hitler and they repeat the 6 million figure over and over but nobody in the Leftist controlled media ever mentions the 13 million Ukrainians starved to death by planned famine in the 30s, or the 20 million (including 4-5 million Jews) Stalin killed in his paranoid purges. Not to diminish Hitler's brutality, but he was an amateur by Stalin's standards.

The Pinkos don't like bad news about the Left, though. They generally ignore it or cover it up.
 
Was in a military anti-terrorist/hostage rescue team in the mid/lates 70s .... we received many, many down-channel alerts regarding terrorist events & those regarding stolen/"lost" weapons systems thru-out the world & within this grand US of A ....

Pretty staggering buy all accounts & with the lates eco-terrorists events, it is much worse, w/a caveat.

It really does depend on which side you are on. OH NO!

But is does. One's side determines whether or not your are a freedom fighter or a terrorist. No?

Flame away. Doesn't matter one whit in all actuality. The press will report it qas they see it through their own bias & that is what you get to read. Pure & simple.

That a car bomb blows up 12 in London, or a fire burns down a new Aspen lodge in the Colorado high-alpine, or some "nut" goes off in Atlanta (because his day-trading dint pan out) ... really doesn't matter ..... they are all terrorist events directed at specific "wrongs" "perpetrated" by the "oppressors."

"Wrongs," "perpetrators" and "terrorist events" are all a matter of the beholder - and - of those who read the "news" as spun" by the reporters own bias.

You be the judge - if you can.
OK. Not to belittele folks dying one bit, or the destruction of private/public property, etc. ... not one bit.

However .... take this scenario ...

"15 five-man terrorist groups attacked the White House today & assasinated The President in an obvious violent protest against further instrusions into .... yada, yada (sorry, not up to the newsreel bit tonight ... ) " Anyway, you get the point.

If they're on our side = freedom fighters (lay aside whether or not you think that'd be a good idea) - if you don't like their stance = they're "terrorists."
