Help me out here this is just a framework and is openly submitted for additions and editing:

Ten Steps to Gun Owner Nirvana

1) Dad teaches you gun safety.
2) Your first gun!
3) Your first Buck!
4) ?
5) ?
6) You apply for a Curio and Relic License.
7) ?
8) You apply for a Class III License.
9) Congress dosen't extend the Assault Weapons Ban!
10)NIRVANA!!!

Feel free to fill in the blanks, reorder or add the necessary steps beyond ten as needed. I'm trying to find my way to Gun Ownership Nirvana and need an "action list".

You get to teach your son (or daughter) what you know.
Your significant other wants to learn all about RKBA and responsible ownership.
You get to buy what you want, when you want, no questions asked. :)
And RKBA is alive and well long after you're gone...

*) The first time YOU help someone ELSE with safety/tech problems etc.

*) Congress wakes up and realizes all gun laws are unconstitutional and repeals them all. (Synonymous with Nirvana)

*) The first time you shoot full auto!

*) The joy of passing on what you know about guns and freedom.
