So if for some reason you were limited to only ten handguns which would they be and why?

Colt 1911, S&W .357, S&W .44 Mag, Glock 10mm, Colt 1911 Officer (carry model), Beretta 9mm, Colt .45 LC Peacemaker, Ruger GP100, S&W Schofield, Colt Dragoon...just my opinion. I'm into modern handgun shooting but I am also way into collecting the classic old revolvers so I gave you a little variation.

I didn't pick 10 guns to go out and buy, I picked 10 from my collection. The first 8 cover everything I need to do with a handgun, and the last 2 are just ..neat!

Tearfully left out, but just barely, and could easily be in in a second vote:
- Ruger SP101 .327 Fed Mag
- S&W .327 Fed Mag snubby (non-ported steel) just released
- Ed Brown Special Forces 5" (maybe with rail, but hate to glop up a nice classic gun like that)

Also, somebody (with more energy than I!) please do a re-cap after awhile to show what top 5 (10 or whatever) guns got the most hits. I can pre-guess on a few, but it'd be interesting...and maybe informative for a next purchase or trade!

Springfield EMP, a compact9mm 1911. Almost all positive feedbacks-beautiful.
CZ 83, somehow this gun say something like, "I am here to do a job, and I get it done, so don't you say that I am ugly..."
Thinking "why not a .44?" lately. Probably Desert eagle for me, not a revolver.
A S&W bodyguard, "same as CZ 83"
A CZ 75, reliable, all positive feedbacks, "feels like gun..."
A Walther, because you need a Walther. Probably PP series. No plastic Sir, nooo...
A SIG, 220 or 225. Because I am one of those types, "always babbling about the glory of the old days"...
A Beretta, 92 or 81/84. Because if you are into guns, you will want a Beretta...
I have a S&W model 10, so no need to add to the list...
