Temporary Setup

I'm out of the shop for a while but the casting can't stop. It only takes a few minutes to set the pot & fan. I like to stand while casting so my pour spout is just below my eye level.

I don't like casting this way but till I make some changes this will have to do. It's simple to level & it's plenty steady.

Mine's a stainless steel commercial kitchen table in my outdoor kitchen, yours looks good to me. Any vibrations can probably be eliminated by a rubber anti-fatigue mat under the milk crate.

One thing I like about the Magma pot is to operate the pour lever I can pull the lever by placing my thumb on the frame & finger on the lever & simply squeeze them together. Very smooth & easy to control. So I get no shaking nor any pressure to the side of the pot. She just don't move plus it's heavy enough that you won't knock it over unless you're half way trying.

I like the idea of a stainless steel commercial kitchen table. Bet that's nice?
