Tell me about your Kimber Micro 9

I'm looking at a slightly used Kimber Micro 9 for $600 at the local GS/range. It's the Nightfall model with the snazzy hi vis sights on it. The MSRP is $755. I've never owned or shot a Kimber of any kind. The dry fire trigger pull seems really good. This would be a carry gun.

If you own one or have shot one . . . please talk to me.

Life is good.

Love my Kimber Micro 380 and Micro 9, the 9mm is easy shooting with easily managed recoil. My pistol is the perfect carry size, often I use a belly band holster for maximum comfort and concealment.
I also have a Sig 938 9mm same size and easy shooting as the Kimber, to maximize fun with this pistol I purchased a .22 conversion kit with a slide and night sights the same as the 9mm. This combination allows practice with .22 lr when you do not need the full power of the 9mm.

I bought a new one and had a LOT of problems with it. I ended up fixing it my self. Now that it works, I do carry it and can hit really well with it.

Paid $584 new for the SS version with CT laser grips.

you might want to check out Kimbers customer support history and whether a warranty is transferable.

I have owned a few and seems like my experience was pretty much like others.
Mostly good, a few bad ones in the group.

I would think their business model is to invest highly in design, which is awesome, and a bit less on CS.
