Tell me about your Glock 29

I have a decent trade opportunity for a Glock 29. I have never owned one. My experience with Glocks is limited to the 17, 19, and 30. I am not a big 10mm fan but have been wanting to get one for a while for various reasons. Can anyone give me any thoughts, good or bad, on the Glock 29?

I bought one about two months ago. It is reliable, accurate for its size and recoil is milder than I expected. I got it for a backwoods gun. Being a die hard gun addict I say go for it!

P.S. I put the pearce pinkly extensions on the mags, it feels much better to me with them on.

Good gun, and the 10mm is a great cartridge. I use it now for my truck gun because I commute 3 hours one way on some pretty desolate roads down in Florida. I feel a lot better knowing it and 4 loaded mags are in the glove box just in case.

I haven't had it but around 3 months, but have put a little over 1000 rounds through it in that time. No problem feeding JHPs and hardball in various weights and loads.

I put MeproLite night sights on mine and use the Pearce Grip extenders. Also, I have a Wolff Guiderod and 3.5 pound connector in it as well. I do that with all my Glocks so that they all have the same shooting characteristics for the most part.

It has taken over truck duty from a G30.

Love my G29. It's an accurate, easy-to-control shooter even with the hottest 10mm loads. As a bonus, you can get .40 and .357sig barrels for it and have 3 guns in one!

I've put about 2000 rounds through mine (mostly 200gr CCI Blazer) without a single problem. I have complete confidence in this firearm.
