I have an old Ted Williams Model 200 12 gauge shotgun with the "PolyChoke". I realize that the gun has no real monetary value but it was the first gun that my father bought for me 30 years ago and has great sentimental value. To make a long story short something happened recently that swelled the barrel tremendously right under the polychoke. I am not sure which of my boys may have slipped a hot shell in it. This is still being investigated. I need a new barrel and was wondering what are my options. I know that the Winchester Model 1200 barrels are interchangeable. Is the model 120 and 1300 also interchangeable? I would like to have a barrel that no longer incorporates the polychoke system. I think that I would like to have a vent rib barrel with removable or a fixed modified choke. Any help would be appreciated.

Ah, but that's what adds character! :) I have the same gun in virtually un-fired condition. I bought it just because it was so nice and also because of the Ted Williams moniker. It's basically a safe queen.
 
Go to e-gunparts website...

menus around to find the "Cross-reference" file for who made what for whom.
There you be able to match teh Sears model with the manufacturer.

Also try Corson's barrels site, a little steep in price but may havae what you need.

Sound like a steel shotshell hit the barrel. Noiw you can make a slug barrel.
 
You might also keep your eyes open (search various internet gun auction sites) for a used gun just for the barrel. You can forego the cosmetics and look for a decent barrel. I have seen guns sell for less than replacement barrels.

I appreciate the feedback. I did see a couple of complete guns on the GunBroker aution sight that were actually cheaper than the replacement barrels that I have seen (although no one seems to have them in stock). I guess I will end up buying another complete gun or just try to catch a barrel passing through one of the various suppliers as they come available. Thanks again.
