Ted Williams Mod.300 Takedown?

MY NEPHEW GOT AN OLD T.WILLIAMS MOD. 300 SEMI. SHOTGUN. HE WANTED ME TO HELP TO REMOVE THE BARREL FOR CLEANING. I REMOVED THE END CAP AND THE FOREND CAME LOOSE ABOUT 1/2". IT THEN TIGHTENED UP. THE BARREL ALSO LOOSENED UP THE SAME AMOUNT. HE SAID THAT WHEN HE SHOT IT THE FOREND ALSO MOVED THEN. IS THERE A TRICK TO TAKE DOWN THIS SHOTGUN??? ANY HELP???

thanks for the information on the Ted Williams mod. 300. I found the site that you told me about but had no luck downloading it. I know that I can start looking for info on the winchester 1400 now. I hope that I can work from there.
thanx,

I'm assuming you have Adobe Acrobat?

This is a standard program used online to read complicated info.
It's used by a lot of online catalogs.

If you don't have it, a download is FREE direct from Adobe:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Once you download and install it, the manuals at Steve's pages will automatically open when you click on them, and you can then either just look at them, store them on your computer, or print them out.

If you don't have Adobe installed on your computer, do so, because you'll need it if you do much online.

You might also get a free manual by contacting Winchester.
