any one here that can explain hoy to lighten the trigger pull on my tc new englander

On a Thompson rifle the small screw between the 2 triggers is the set screw ... turn it clock wise to make the trigger lighter and counter clock wise to make it harder .. you may have to take the trigger guard off to get to it with a small flat head screw driver . if you over tighten it you`ll know it the hammer won`t stay back when cocked ...just back off some .

new englander is single trigger work slowly with a fine stone will help.. I cut a coil or two off my spring only do this if your sure can get a spring. hone the flat on the lock any place that rubs makes a big difference
