TC mounting system ID

Hey Guys,
This is my first post here and I come asking a question, hoping for assistance.

The problem is that I have forgotten what kind of mounting system is on my TC 7X30 Waters.

This system looks like a cradle and is screwed to the barrel. The scope rings are both attached on a removable solid base which drops in the cradle, the ring base cams in front, this secures it down, the scope and rings can be removed by taking out a screw that is located on the right side of the cradle mount, near the gun's hammer.

Can anybody ID this mount system from my description?

These are know as TC Quick Release Mounts and Bases.
Basically the base is made to fit a particualy TC firearm, like a Contender. The scope ring assembly is common to all. This allows you to remove a scope for ease of cleaning or sharing the same scope between multipla forearms. They are well made and stabile. If you give me information on the firearm, I can provide you with the exact part number. I have used these on more than one Contender and M/L. There was a time when TC made all kinds of bases, adapters and ring mounts but no more. I have quite a few of these for the Scout M/L's.

TC mounts

The attached picture should be visible, instead of scanning on theflatbed I had to take it out on the porch and use natural light. Big difference.
I would be grateful to anyone who can identify the mount system.

You are showing a Contender and the product number for the ring assembly, is No. 9995. The base product number, is No. 9955.
There are times when you will see them on GB and as I said before, TC no longer shows them in their catalog. I don't know what else you might want to know and hope this helps. ;)

Thank you very much. I thought they might be TC OEM I ordered those things a long time ago when I owned a gun store. I think I got them straight from the TC rep.

Now that we have established what they are, I am on the hunt for several sets of the rings. If anyone has some please let me know.

Thank you, I appreciate the tip info and I bid on the set on gunbroker.

I have not ever considered the Redfields, never looked at a set actually.
I know they would be good. I can't tell you ow many sets of Redfield bases I sold and mounted on rifles when I was in the business. I also definitely like the quick release aspect of the TC though.

I would like a couple more sets, particularly the bases if they are separated. Think about it tomorrow after lots of turkey etc and feel free to PM me when you come up with what you want. I plan to hunt some and fish in the Gulf over Thanksgiving so will be in and out.
