Tax Break for Gun Safes

Just saw this on NRA live

Ron Paul and other congresscritters are proposing a tax break for gunowners who buy a gun safe.

I think this is a great idea, gives gun owners an incentive to buy safes. Would allow up to $1500 in tax breaks for the purchase of a gun safe.

Might encourage gunowners who think they cannot afford a real safe.

The government knows who has guns. And who says your gun safe has to house guns? Handgunning magazine says to tell your wife about all the other things that can be kept in it.
