To my eye this is a good looking gun, and I'm interested in picking one up in SS. Does anyone have an feedback on this gun? Any preferences as to the .45 colt vs. the .45 ACP? Thanks in advance

Do you work for the IRS? Just curious.

I have a tracker chambered in .41 Magnum. I like it. The internals were a little rough when I bought it NIB, but they smoothed up and it has a very nice trigger now.

I don't have any firearms chambered for .45 Colt, so I can't say much about comparing it to .45ACP. I will say that I don't see much variety available as far as .45 Colt ammo goes. I don't like shooting lead, so Cowboy loads would not do it for me. For me, .45ACP would probably be cheaper to shoot.

I don't own any handguns that require moonclips, either. Not sure which I would prefer. Good luck with your shopping.

I have a Tracker in 45 Colt and it is a great gun and I plan on using it to hunt Deer on monday. do a search for tracker in the Revolver forum and you will find some more posts on trackers in 45
