I will assume that the Tracker uses the same 5-shot moonclip as my Taurus Model 455, which is a 2-inch snubnose.
Those clips are thinner than the original clip design from the Colt and S&W Model 1917 days. Which were the clips that led to the design of the .45 Auto Rim (.45 AR) cartridge.
End result is that I cannot use .45 AR in my Taurus. The rims are too thick and the cylinder will not close.
I suspect, but do not know, that the Tracker will also not be able to use that cartridge. Whether that is disturbing to you, only you know.
Now, in general I am happy with every Taurus revolver I've owned but I've seen a couple for sale that were obviously flawed, as in crooked trigger and crooked front sight, but not on the same gun
And I like my .44 Mangle-um snubbie Tracker. Won't be firing any more magnums in that one, no I won't. For stout .44 Specials it is a great gun.
Oh, and a hint about .45 ACP wheelguns. Best if you don't shoot steel cased ammo, as in the surplus WW2 production (which are corrosive primed) or the modern Wolf ammo. The extraction is a challenge.
