Taurus / Rossi Circut Judge Carbine

I just picked up a Rossi Circut Judge 2 days ago. Took it shootin today. Its not at the pinacle of practicality but its a total hoot to shoot. Its a .45 colt / .410 shot revolver carbine. It has a 5 shot cylinder with well designed shields to keep powder splatter off your forhand grip. Its very light and just feels good to sholder. It came with a scope rail so I mounted a low power scope. I fired a box of 250 gr Black Hills Cowboy ammo and once I got the scope in was doing 3-2 inches at 50 yds. Light recoil. I did not fire any .410 yet so cannot comment on patterns. It comes with 2 screw in "chokes" which really are not. The grooved one is just for .410 shot to keep a tighter pattern and the 2nd is a thread saver and for buck & slugs & .45 bullets. I guess there is a .44 mag model out but no shotgun with that model. If you get a chance to fire a Circut Judge you will want one !

Circuit Judge

When I sold them for Bass PRO we sold out constantly. Those that bought them raved about them.:) Cliff

I also recently just purchased a Circuit Judge. I'm new with most weapons (other than what I fired while in the military) and was just curious if there was a "favorite" .45LS out there (in these forums), specifically for this weapon. I've narrowed my .410 rounds to PDX1 for home protection.

I looked on there website, The MSRP of $665.00 or higher for a carbine that shoots 2"-3" groups at 50yds. and only holds 5rds. I'll pass.

I shot one at the local range and it looked like fun but my wife was wanting a hand gun at the time... She ended up buying a Judge...

Its not my cup of tea but she likes it (once I had sent it back to the factory for repairs)

imagine those poor guys that buy the ruger NO1s in 475 linebaugh, they pay double for a single shot with comparable accuracy:D
