Looking for a little guidance here. I have a Taurus 941 (.22 Mag) that has a VERY heavy DA trigger pull. My best guess is somewhere above 15 lbs or so. The SA trigger pull isn't too bad (it breaks pretty cleanly), but I'd like to have the DA pull down in the 6-8 lb. range. Since I carry it quite often, I'd like to replace the OEM springs (if possible) rather than cut 'em down for obvious reasons. I haven't found any replacement springs for the Taurus through Brownells, but I have found replacements for J-frame S&W's. Are these springs compatible? What other sources might there be for such springs? I haven't actually done any serious work on revolvers, but I wonder if this might be something I could do, or will I have to take it to a gunsmith? I know this is a lot of ???, but any help would be appreciated.
