Taurus repair turn around time.

Has anyone had to send in their Taurus pistol to Taurus for repairs? If so, what was the turn around time from when you sent it, to when you recieved it? If repaired, were the repairs satisfactory?
Thanks

Hate to rag on Taurus, I have a great PT-22 and beside Ruger where else do you buy a revolver nowdays but here is my story:
I sent a PT-140 back right after I got it to correct feeding problems(in well over a 100 rnds), light strikes, horrible trigger and I found the safety really loose. It cost about $30 to UPS and I did get it back in 3 weeks but it still would not feed well and they didnt do a thing about the safety. The trigger job was really good for that type of gun. I was disapointed in the repair note that just said "trigger job and fired 10 rounds ".How many times do I have to send it in for "free" repairs at $30? I sold it and the best thing to come out of my Taurus experience was that I bought a Glock27 and never looked back!

I had to send a PT-111 back to them for repairs. Got it back in about 3 weeks or so. The repairs seemed to have been done properly but, to tell the truth, I never fired it again. I took it to the next gun show and traded it away. I had lost confidence in it.

To Taurus' credit, this was the only repair I have ever had to have. My Pt-92 and model 66 revolver have been flawless for over 13 years.
