Taurus recall

I have a PT-145. It is one made shortly before the transition to the Millenium Pro. I am aware that the safety, not being as positive as it should be, can be partially upwards and not on and that the gun will still fire and, in the process shear the safety from the frame. My gun works and I would not trade it in for anything less than it cost me new, which is at least $100 less than Taurus is offering in this settlement. The only time I would be interested in turning it in is if they offered a credit on a new gun for the purchase price of the original. Otherwise, I'm not interested. I might be interested in having the safety firmed up. IF the famed reputation for Taurus warranty service can be improved. Otherwise, again not interested.
