I recently purchased a Taurus PT92AF. Has anyone noticed a really sloppy trigger? I really like it besides that. Wondering if somebody can modify the looooong pull in the trigger.(in both SA or DA)?
My Taurus PT-99 has an overall sloppy trigger as well. The DA pull is a bit longer than need be, and there is considerable take-up on SA that tends to be annoying. However, an annoyance is all it seems to be as it doesn't seem to affect accuracy.
Thanks Snowdog, I wonder if the Beretta is the same way? If I would have known the trigger was that bad I wouldn't have bought it. But I got it really cheap.
My PT 100 AFS has about an 1/8" or less slack in the trigger before it hits the wall and gets the hammer moving. It doesnt bother me at all, in fact I've grown used to it and hardly even notice it now. I talked to a gunsmith about being able to work the trigger mech to take the slack out and he said thats the way it was designed and he couldn't do anything for it. Fine by me. Works well and its my primary carry gun so I am used to it. Dont know if Berretta has the same trigger slack or not.
