I just picked a like new pt809c. I feel like the recoil spring is really weak due to how easy it is to pull the slide back. Are these supposed to be easy to pull back? Will taurus just send me a recoil spring if needed? Thanks.
I've heard about this issue with the Compact model and was the only reason i didn't buy one after getting the full size...which has the dual recoil spring. Only thing i can say is i'd look for an aftermarket spring, maybe buy two.
