Taurus PT111

Hi,

I have a Taurus PT111 that is brand new only had nine rounds shot through it. It has one ten round clip, two keys, cleaning brush and instruction book with original box. Also, 141 rounds of CCI/Blazer ammo. (don't remember the grain) that will most likely go with it. What is a good asking price for this gun?

I just had to have a 9mm, but after shooting nine rounds find that I like my revolver better (easier to clean and load!)

I'm in Virginia, if that makes any difference, and thinking about trading it for a 22 rifle for squirrel and varmit hunting and don't want to get took...

I'm not sure i would trade it for a .22,as you can pick up a new Savage .22 at Wal-Mart for a $100 & that Savage (i have one)will take out any squirrel in your county!
 
Sell it outright and then buy yourself a good .22 rifle (Marlin and Ruger both make very good .22's). I would suggest trying to sell it here on TFL first, then if you don't get what you want for it, maybe list it on Auctionarms.com or Gunbroker.com. By searching both of those sites you will get an idea of it's value.

I cannot find one in the area! I want to see one and feel one before I buy. If yours is not available, maybe that's good. What were your thoughts? I am looking for a nice, small, light 9mm for carry. I like the positive safety. Can you give any feedback on the pistol?
