Taurus pt111 g2 mag problem

I have a Taurus millennium g2. One magazine works great no problems, the 2nd one always causes fte the problems almost every shot. It there a way to fix the mag? And is the a after market maker that sells mags for this gun?. It's a 12rd 9mm
 
I haven't noticed any issues with mine... I've got about 600-800 rounds through the gun, using both magazines.

The only issues that I have encountered is both mags are hard to load. I need to use a "speed loader" gizmo the push everything down when adding rounds to the magazine. Once loaded they function just fine

I emailed Taurus,waiting on a reply. kind of afraid of getting another bad magazine. willing to roll the dice on a aftermarket brand if I could find one

Worst case scenario, you are no worse off and haven't spent any extra money. Best case, you end up with two good mags, and still haven't spent any extra money.
 
One of the two magazines for my Remington R51 was giving me troubles, a call had one on the way in the next day's mail. Also the rotary mag for my American 300 Blackout would not feed the top two rounds, bingo! A new mag was in the mail. Both of these request.s were made in the past couple of months.
Hopefully Taurus will respond in a like manner.
 
a friend recommended I take the mag apart and clean it. I did, cleaned everything real well, then oiled the spring and inside the mag. it worked. I ran 50 rnds thru it with only 1 fte. before I had a fte just about every other shoot
 
One F T F means the mag is no good for personal defense, you must have 100% reliability or do not carry on he pistol. I have had personal experience and talked with too many Taurus owners to have that needed confidence.
