Taurus PT100AF in 40 S&W

I purchased this gun Friday form my gun shop for $250. How safe is this gun in 40 S&W, I shot it with Win white box 180 grain rounds, put 100 through it with no problems. I haven't heard of any KB with a Taurus or Berreta. Also any advice on handloading this one, I load for the 45 ACP.

Safe gun.

For handloads recommend not-from-Glock used cases, CCI500, Alliant Power Pistol, 155-180g FP or RN bullets (NOT SWC!), OAL 1.130"+.005"/-.003".

Finish using a Lee Carbide Factory Crimp die.

I have owned one for about 9 years. When I load for target practice, I usually load 135 grain, about .5 grains light for what the book calls for. With the comp, and recoil reduction system, I can hold the gun with two fingers and shoot.
