Taurus PT-22 owners?

Has anybody fired alot of Stingers and the like though your PT-22? Taurus warns against it and I never have but for carry I wouldnt mind loading it with Stinger solids if I could shoot enough through it to see if they feed reliably without hurting it. I assume Taurus feels Stingers are +P ammo. For years I have just stuck to WinSuperX in it. Great little backup gun.
 
I have shot enough Stingers in mine to make sure it goes boom everytime. Do not shoot any of that hyper vel Aguila stuff out of it though. I split the slide on mine somewhere around the 3rd round. It cracked right on the end where it goes under the tip up barrel. When I got it back from the factory there was a nasty note saying dont shoot hyper velocity ammo in it. BTW Stingers are my carry ammo in it. I bought a brick of Quickshoks to try in it but after seeing some split cases after shooting it in my Ruger MK I I decided not to.
