Taurus PT-138 vs. Bersa .380

They're simple and reliable little guns.
Taurus Milleniums, on the other hand, at best have hideous trigger pulls, iffy accuracy, and facial-tic-inducing disassembly/reassembly procedures. At worst, the .45's and .40's are known to crack frames. The Millenium's trigger has been described as like "trying to pull a piano across a gravel road with your trigger finger".

Have you seen or heard about a CZ 83? Cant beat it for any price for dependability, accuracy, capabity or quality....its not much bigger than the bersa and can be had for not much more $.
Check them out....I am selling mine and regretfully so........

In multiple comparisons I have done over the years...I have owned and shot Bersa'/firestorms, BDA, 230/232, Beretta, Walthers, FEG's...makarovs etc etc etc
Given you choice of Taurus or Bersa/firestorm...all of the poly gun nightmares you have heard w/ taurus, not one .380 has been mentioned...light small and accurate. The bersa is a good gun..thinner and heavier than the taurus....not as much capacity...with a 380 that is an issue to me...I would rather have 10+1 as to 7+1 with the standard single stack bersa....
Rough choice..both have benefits....

I've read some complaints about the various Taurus calibers, no complaints about the Bersa (but I have read praise articles about the Bersa).
Plus, the Bersa is plain cool. I'm getting one as soon as I raise the cash.
Most of us will never use a gun in a defensive situation, so I think the fun factor is pretty important. Which one looks like more fun to you?

I shot a Bersa before and loved it but I liked the design of the Taurus (it reminded me of my Kel-Tec), plus the additional three rounds. But the trigger did raise an eyebrow due to it being DAO and I HATE my Kel-Tec for that reason. I probably will go with the Bersa. Thanks for your help.
