Taurus PT 111 are they working?

I own one and haven't seen any threads on them for a while. Prior threads have been mostly negative regarding durability. I don't plan to shoot it alot but want to feel confident that it will work when I do. Has anybody out there put lots of rounds through without a problem? I like the size, weight and feel of the gun and have had no jams. Also has anyone shot one of the new titanium 40 or 45 cal autos by this company?

My PT 111 has been functioning perfectly. I have put over 600 (360 hollowpoints)rounds this this pistol without a problem. The gun feeds perfectly and is accurate. My original post is one that sparked a lot of the negative comments on the PT 111. My trigger broke my first time out with this gun. Taurus repaired it and since its return it has been a gem. I don't like the fact that I had to have a new pistol repaired, but I am very pleased with this pistol since getting is back. It seems very reliable. It also feeds 9mm birdshot very well (which is something a lot of autos will not do).

After getting mine back from Taurus, it works just fine. It loves TetraGun to keep it lubed, and eats everything it can get down it's throat.

I will be the third one on the match. I have had no trouble with my Pt 111. I say if Ruger built a small 9mm it would look like this. Regards, Richard.
