Taurus model identification????

Hi,

I have a problem, I need help with the identification of a model of a revovler???
It is maifactured by TAURUS (BRASIL), but I don't know the model, have 5 rounds, caliber 38SPL look like early production Taurus model 445, and I know that is not a model 85. Also look like a revovler made by Rossi.
I will attached some pics for easy identification

If that's it, it looks like your basic model 85. (.38 Special, 5 shot, small frame. It does have the larger Taurus "combat" grip instead of the boot grip, but so what? That could have been added by a prior owner. It's a little bit older than current models, from the pin visible on the barrel.)

What makes you say it is not?

The model number should be stamped on the frame, visible when the cylinder is unlatched and opened.

I have a newer 85 -- about 20 years old -- and the one in the picture looks like its' way more beatup brother ... grips are easy to replace, mine has Hogue wood grips ..
