It's the "factory standard" porting on the Titanium guns. It's really aggravating me.
All I want is a light-weight, hammerless snubbie, and if it weren't for the extra holes in the barrel (only need two!), the 850T would be simply dreamy. Sigh.
Notice that the 850T only weighs 1 ounce less than the aluminum 85UL, which isn't ported.
So I could go stainless, and deal with the weight.
Or I could go hammered (ahem!) and deal with the hammer.
Or I could wait for a pre-agreement 342 to come along locally. (I'm leery of buying pre-owned goods sight-unseen, not to mention the added expense and hassle of online gun transactions)
