Taurus M94

Any opinions on the Taurus M94 22LR? I am looking at a revolver so I can shoot all types of cartridges (cb's,shot, colibri, etc.) so a semi-auto is not an option. I have considered a Single Six but really want a DA & the Ruger SP101 is too expensive. Any opinions or suggestions are appreciated!

I thought that the one I had was of good quality. I had a chance to make a little on it, and I sold it. Now, I'm searching for the stainless one in the discontinued 3" barrel length. Give it a try.

sandbagger,
I own a Taurus M94 in stainless and love it. It's a fun gun to shoot and IMO it's also very well made. I have only shot .22LR in mine but would like to try the CB's also.
Take care. :)

PS...The brass on PMC ammo is thin and will expand in the cylinders and cause ejection problems, I use Winchester ammo in my M94 and PMC in my autoloaders. Just a suggestion.

I got a blue 94 with 4" barrel about 3 weeks ago.
Have only fired it about 150 times and so far am really pleased with it. For me it feels right, points right and appears to be very accurate.
I've played with it alot at home, dryfiring it about a 1000 times and it seems like the trigger pull is getting smoother and smoother. It may be my trigger finger is getting conditioned.
It came with a nylon washer on the back of the cylinder and I put it back on to protect the firing pin when dryfiring.
The more I look at it the better I like its appearance. The fit and finish to me looks very good.
The 94 is a fun gun at a reasonable price and I don't think you will be dissapointed if you get it.

I had my model 94 out today for a little plinking. I probably enjoy shooting this gun more than any other. I purchased my blued 2in snub model 94 last November for $230.00 NIB. I have been completely satisfied with this revolver. It's well made, accurate, and downright fun to shoot.
