Taurus judge 6.5

I made a impulse buy on a taurus judge with a 6.5 inch barrel. I've been wanting to add one to my collection for some time. I have the supplies to handload 45 colt, and 410. Like most I'll probably use it as a snake gun due the high cost, and availability of pistol shot shells. If you have one tell me how you like it. Let me know any tips or tricks, and what loads work well for you. Thanks for any input given.

There are many threads about the Taurus Judge, and since you're looking at the Judge maybe you want to look at the S&W Governor too. The Search feature will get you a lot of information.

Here's one that discusses some of the attributes of both and post #7 has some links to some Youtube videos about ammunition for them.

Noteworthy is the first two videos that do some tests on a 220 all copper hollow point from Lehigh ('Lehigh Defense Maximum Expansion 45 Colt' that is for these guns only, not a regular .45 Colt). Expansion is very impressive.
