Taurus fans

Don't like em..period... ok reliability, feeding sometimes a prob, don't "feel " right in the hand

I don't have any experience with Taurus Semiautos, but I own a couple of their Revolvers, and like them quite well.

I hate mine. Getting rid of it ASAP.

Look around these forums and you'll find the verbose version of the troubles I've had with it.

I've learned my lesson and won't buy another one.

Have an older nickled PT-99 (non-decocker). Only problem was a small fleck of nickle coming off near the extractor. Can't tell that a piece came off though. Otherwise, no problems through ~8K rounds.

I've fired about a 500 rounds through my PT-940. I love it! It's as accurate as I am, not a single FTF. A snap to strip and clean. I like the feel. Very manageable recoil, my wife even loves to shoot it. I have not had a single problem with ANY of my Taurus', revolvers, or pistol.

I take that back, I did have a model 85 I didn't care for. I sold it.:barf:

I've had a PT58 and a PT100 for over 7 years and neither one has ever given me one problem other than their not caring for Hydra Shok ammo. Also have a 441 wheel gun that is a great 5 shooter.

I've rented a few Taurus's in 9mm and .40 cal. I found them accurate and I had no problems with them. I think they look and feel like Beretta's, but I'm no expert. A friend of mine has an 8 shot Taurus .357 magnum revolver and really enjoys it, and so do I when he lets me shoot it.

I've fired one of their PT92's. It's a nice little booger. I prefer Beretta only because of military parts available.

I had a PT-100AF. I like it. It was reliable, not as accurate as my Beretta. It was a pain finding mags for it. It slide serrations tended to cut my fingers when I racked the slide. Overall, it was not a bad gun. Unfortunately, I used it to fund a vacation some years back.
