Taurus CIA Model?

Anyone have one of these yet, and if so what do you think of it? I've been thinking about picking one up for some time, but my dealer still hadn't gotten one the last time I asked (months ago and two Kel-Tec's & a Ruger later).

I saw one at a local gun show 2 weeks ago. It looked pretty cool. A great carry gun!

SS had a real nice trigger; others were so-so.

"CIA Model"? Sounds like Taurus is suffering from illusions of grandeur.

Actually, the "CIA" has nothing to do with the actual agency affiliation. It's simply a clever marketing acronym that stands for "Carry It Anywhere." I was reading about it in a magazine.

The CIA model is the Taurus version of a S&W Centennial (Concealed Hammer). So far the cheapest price I've been quoted in my local area is $289 for the blued version. None of the local shops actually have any in stock so I will have to order one.
