I have had it for about 2 years and love it. I had a paddle holster made by Wild Bill's concealment leather and it is very comfortable and handles well. I keep it loaded with RBCD for the most bang for the buck (www.rbcd.net) but it also does real nicely with Silvertips and the Cor-Bon loads. Mine has about 900 rounds through it. It is very managable although I wouldn't want to put more than a hundred a day through it as it is a handfull
i have the little 41 mag and it is one fun gun. eats the same loads as my 657 as i am too lazy to change my powder measure around. besides, why would i want to shoot "special" loads in a magnum. i suspect the 45 colt would be a very nice piece also. either would be a serious packing gun. your post makes me want one in 45. gotta be a blast. oh, rapid fire makes me glad it only holds five rounds. it does rip and snort but thats the fun of it. it is manageable. go for it.
Thanks, guys... I guess, then, that your Tauruses have been strong and dependable? I'm trying to break the habit of only owning Smiths and Rugers. Besides, I always wanted a big bore snubby...
