I owned one. Always fired and extracted. SA trigger was excellent. I sent it back to Taurus when it was new to have them rework the DA trigger stroke. Got it back and didn' see much difference. Fired it tons live and dry to try and smooth it out but never really saw any improvement. Best .22 I ever had or fired was an old used S+W 422. They can be found used under $200, I've seen one as low as $150. Nothing fancy but I always found it hard to miss with.
I have one, fired thousands of rounds through it, Its very accurate, has an excellent trigger, and 9 shot cylinder. Its the perfect size for a .22lr revolver and is all forged steel.
I like mine alot, never had an extraction problem, or even heard that they had one.
I had a stainless with four inch barrel (sold) and an ultralite snubby (still have). Both were well-made, well-finished, and reliable. The double action trigger is heavy but the single action is fine. I think the 94 in .22lr is a good value and fun to shoot. I imagine that the 94 in .22 mag is also good but I haven't shot one. You can get greater accuracy with a good single action auto in .22 with six inch barrel. I have the SW 2206 and like it very much. Prices are comparable (excellent used 2206 versus new 94). One could also consider the Harrington and Richardson .22 break open revolver with six inch barrel. Also fun. All of the Taurus and HR nine shot .22s use the same HKS speedloader.
