Taurus 94 and 970?

I'm looking for a .22 revo and I found these on the taurus web site. After reading the comments on the forum, I still don't get the difference between these two.

The 970 holds 7 bullets and the 94 9.

The 970 is two times heavier than the 94.

The 970 have a 6,5 inches barrel and the 94 a 5 inches one. (I'm in Canada so i'm considering this lenght).

I understand that I should go in the store and hold them both, but i'm asking you why I should get one instead of the other as they are the same price. Does one have a better trigger or they're both exactly the same inside?. Anything else?

Thanks

The 94 is akin in size with a S&W J-frame, the 970, a K-frame. Theoretically, the larger frames internal geometry should add up to a better pull. However, Taurus' small-frame guns usually are quite good at least in that regard. I would tend to go with the 94, particulary if the Gov't regs force you into the longer barrel lengths which increase the weight of the gun.
