Taurus 94 4" 22 LR Revolver

I had a 2" model 94 in stainless for a few months. The trigger was smooth, but very heavy. It developed heavy leading after two trips to the range, and accuracy was not good. I now have a Ruger Bearcat and I'm much happier.

I've got the 3'' version and don't like it

Couldn't find a brand of ammo it likes and the trigger is horrible. Iv'e got it back of the safe and rarely take it out anymore.

I have one bought in 1998, accuracy is excellent the trigger is very good, and I have put many thousands of rounds through mine. Its a favorite for introducing newbies to shooting handguns.

I saw a brand new .22 caliber Ruger SP101 for $325 this week. I am an S&W man all the way, with two K-frame and one J-frame .22's. That said, I would take the Ruger to the Taurus any day of the week. I have seen two Taurus 94's that would not work through the first two cylinders of ammo.

I had one. Good fit and finish, accurate, good S/A trigger and what felt like a 20 lb D/A trigger. I traded it and $150.00 for a Springfield XD 40 and never looked back. It's the only Taurus i've ever owned that i didn't like.

hi mich. i have two taurus mod. 94's. the stainlesss 2" and a blued 4". love them both. my only complaint would be the heavy triggers. wolff springs can help with that. i believe the 9# trigger spring and 10 or 11# hammer spring are the ones now in the guns. makes a huge difference. i just sent the blued gun off for repair, the transfer bar broke. but i might add that i have put right around 27,000 rds through this gun without any other problems. b.

Mine is the 2” snub. It does have a heavy trigger but with use it smoothes a bit. Mine is very accurate and I’ve put many hundreds of rounds through it without any malfunction. I also like the 9 shot capacity.
