Taurus 850CIA vs Model 85 Concealed Hammer?

I was looking at the Taurus 850 CIA and the Model 85 (stainless steel). Other than a SLIGHT weight difference, (the CIA model seems SLIGHTLY heavier), I can't see any difference in the 2 models. Does anyone know if there IS a difference? It seems odd that a gun manufacturer would make 2 models that are practically identical.

The CIA's frame covers the hammer mechanism and the hammer is not exposed. In the model 85, the hammer is only bobbed (an option) and the mechanism is exposed.
