I have a gun my father gave me a few years ago and after shooting it for the first timenoticed that the cylinder sticks or hangs up a little when trying to reload..shoots ok otherwise..anysuggestions?

We need a better description of the problem. Do you mean the cylinder or crane stick when being swung out or that the latch sticks when you try to open the cylinder or that the extractor sticks when ejecting the cases or that the cylinder doesn't turn freely when swung out or something else?

Tha cylinder when empty or full when in the latched position ie ready to fire will not swing open without a firm push on the other side of the cylinder?

Check to see if the ejector rod may be unscrewing. It's a common problem with those. Make sure its tight and remember it has reverse threads.

Thanks superhouse 15..it was the ejector rod..screwed it in and works like a champ!!!!
