Taurus 627 trigger pull

Have a Taurus tracker 627 in .357 and am totally a newbie. I had a few instructors and officers shoot it the other night and they ALL made comments on the very light trigger pull. Is this something I can adjust on the gun , or should I take it in? After they all made this comment, I did notice that when shooting it single action, it doesn't take much to set it off, but I don't notice it shooting it double action. Just wondering if anyone knows about the model and if it's user friendly enough for me to adjust the trigger at home. thanks guys

I've yet to see an unaltered factory gun come with a dangerously light trigger pull. If the gun is stock, just rejoice that you got a good trigger and enjoy it.

Generally, as long as the gun is safe, lighter is better with trigger pulls, IMHO.

I recently owned a Taurus 627. Bought it NIB, and the S/A trigger was kinda light. I also own a SW625jm, and it has the lightest S/A trigger of any gun I have ever owned. I have trained myself to be a little more aware of my surroundings when I'm shooting it. You could almost say it has a hair trigger. For me that's a plus... ;)
