Taurus 608 impressions..

Ok.... never really considered a revolver before, but got to fire my first this last friday. It was a Taurus 608 357 magnum. I liked it!

Anyone have one? Any impressions? I sure liked it...

I don't have a 608, but I do have a 605. The 5 shot version. It bit me the first time I fired mine. Chewed up the webbing between my thumb, and index finger real good. Off to Taurus it went to get ported!!! After that, it turned into a real kitten. I like mine!!

That was my first choice when I decided to buy a revolver. The grip is just too much for my hand, have to settle for Taurus 827. Just got it last Friday haven't tried it at the range yet.

Gonna get my .357 next time. Got my eyes fixed on the Tracker.

Yes, I have a 608 stainless with 6 1/2" barrel. Measured cylinder to barrel clearance is right around .003", and fit and finish are good.

It's accurate and fun to shoot with everything, including full-house loads. Only have about 400 rounds through it, so can't comment about long-term reliability.
