Taurus 455 .45 ACP and .45 AR

Does anyone out there who has a tracker tried .45 AR ammo in it. I've heard rumors that it will NOT work. I'd like to hear for sure from someone who has tried it.
I'd also like to hear about the moon clips, how well they hold up, and whether or not the gun is reliable with out them.
 
I haven't shot the gun, but I have talked to the company about the use of auto-rim cartridges. They confirmed that it wouldn't work. I have no reason to think there will be any problems with the clips.
