Taurus .45 Colt Titanium

Just bought the new Taurus Titanium in .45 Colt today and am 100% impressed. The accuracy was more than acceptable and the kick wasn't as bad as you would figure. The gun is great. Although after 125 rounds my hand did begin to feel the effects a little more.

Goodbye S&W, hello Taurus!!

It cost me $ 449.00 with tax and all. It's the stealth grey model with 2" ported barrel and 5 shot cylinder. The loads used were mostly 300 JHP. While the kick wasn't that bad, after shooting the thing for a while and then picking up my 92FS, it felt like the 9mm wasn't even recoiling at all.

As far as controlability at 15 yards I could put all 5 shots in about 3"-5" which for my purpose of concealed carry will do just fine. The sights of course are not the best being only a rear notch, but again, for it's intended purpose that will be just fine.

One comment I do have to make is that in the double action mode, you had better hold on to the gun.

I'm completely satisfied with the weapon and am going to write a letter to Taurus expressing my appreciation for their firearm as well as their stand with the firearm owners of America.

i looked at one in alloy frame at my local dealer. he offered it to me for $350.00 plus tax. unfortunately i also had a chance to buy a NEW unfired Ruger Speed Six for $250.00. i figured i could always get the Tauras later and by then you guys could test it out for me. i have had a Speed Six before and i knew what quaility of revolver they are. i could not let it go by. i look forward to a .45 Colt concealment pistol sometime in the future. maybe i will see a titanium one when my pocket book gains some more weight.

I just got one about two weeks ago, and paid $430. I really like it except for one thing. The barrel/cylinder gap it way too tight (why didn't I catch that at the dealer?" and won't fire DA very well after a few rounds (cylinder doesn't turn well) It's going back to Taurus this week. Otherwise, VERY happy.
