I thought it was only 'up to' .357mag. Are you talking about the Model 44?Loneranger45

Positive, the model is a 44Tracker4SS it comes in 44 magnum, 4" barrel, 5rds. They are priced around 450$. Seems like a decent price just never fired a taurus before.

Jarin12ga please expound on your experience with the Taurus .44 Mag Tracker so that we can all understand what has personally caused you to feel the way that you do towards this firearm.

Can't say anything about the Tracker model, but I have a Taurus 357 Mag and love it. Taurus quality is almost as good as SW or Ruger, but doesn't have that heafty price tag.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'm sure at least one person out there things I'm full of what makes the grass grow.

Taurus 44 Tracker
I have a new Taurus Tracker 44 Stainless 4" Barrel 44 mag.
Be aware of this revolver for this problem only. If you have large hands like I do' you will have a possible ouch situation with hunting loads.
During recoil 'the rear of the trigger houseing guard will slam into your middle finger knuckle area. There is not enough recoil clearance or grip
protection. 44 special loads are no problem.
I,m tradeing up to a Ruger Redhawk 5.5" barrel 44 mag. and tradeing this Taurus in on it.
FYI bearcapper oh" could find no other grips to fit gun.
