Taurus .327 Mag

Not a bad price, seems like a lot gun for the money. I think the 327 fed mag is a good round with a lot of potential, but I don't think it'll ever catch on. Don't hold me to this, but a j frame holster seems to about the right size.

J Frame holster works well

Though there is a minor difference (kydex), I find retention and fit with a J frame holster works well with my Taurus M327. Leather holster perfect.

The 2" barrel on the Taurus really neuters .327 Federal, but it does still remain a .32 H&R-class performer.

One of their older/newer 3" barrel versions (found via gunbroker, auctionarms, online vendors, etc) would be a better choice, but the Taurus 2" is still quite tempting at that price.

Don't load it with .32 S&W Long for the lady to carry. Performance will be absolutely abysmal. I would be tempted to argue that .22 LR and/or .22 Mag would be a better choice than .32 S&W Long in this 2" barrel.
My preference would be for .32 H&R, if you must use a lower powered load than .327 Federal. However, Federal does produce a reduced recoil SD load that doesn't have much snap to it. (I can't remember if it's a Hydrashok load under the Federal brand, or a Gold Dot load (100 gr?) under the Speer brand.)
