Wow, walked into my local gunstore "just to browse", and walked out with a Taurus 3" .22WMR small frame. Red ramp front, adjustable rear, 8-shot for 175.00!! Looks like it has been fired very little. This will be my first .22 Magnum. I am so pumped.

Sox,
That would seem to be a VERY good deal. I've got a NEW 4" SS version, and I won't tell you what I paid for it (other than more than you did!). As always, they're ammo sensitive, so plan on spending a bit of $$$ finding what it likes. I just like .22 Mag. revolvers 'cause I think they're neat!

You lucky dog. You should be pumped. I think one of those would make a good companion trail gun for my 3" 651 (S&W .41M).

Went to the range today and tried out the new kid. Lemme just say, I was pleasantly suprised when the gun went off when I pulled the trigger, didn't bind, seize, and the bullets struck where I aimed-within reason:) Overall, I really like this thing, especially considering the price. I didn't know what to expect. I have shot a Taurus 94 in .22LR which caused me not to buy one at that time, because the empties wouldn't eject without a strike from a small mallet!!! The .22 Magnum, as a cartridge, is spunkier than I had imagined. Lots of fun. I wonder what kinda velocity the 3" tube is doin?

The first thing I noticed about the .22 mag revolvers was that they are very loud! But, they are fun to shoot. Plus, they are great little trail guns. Good buy, Sox!
